Things to Consider Before Moving Out

There are many different situations that you might find yourself in when moving to a new location. Here are some checklist items to consider before leaving your current residence.

  • For our renters, take notice of the condition of your apartment or rental unit before locking up and dropping off the keys. Some property management companies will give you a moving out checklist, but if they don’t, we will give you some tips before you go.
  • Clean, clean, clean, then clean some more. Most security deposits get gobbled up in cleaning service and maintenance fees. Clean in, around, and behind your major appliances like stoves, refrigerators, and washers/dryers.
